Island of Houat

This long and narrow island, is relatively small, we can do the walking tour with a walking trail, about fifteen kilometers. This island has beautiful sandy beaches, turquoise waters and high purity. The best beaches are located east of the island where you can find the beaches of Treac'h Salus-and-er-Treac'h Goured. The west coast is more rocky, but interspersed with small coves of beautiful beaches.
This island is also home to an exceptional flora, blue thistles, bindweed dunes, yellow immortal.
The port of Saint-Gildas home about thirty fishing boats vibrant. Artisanal fishing is still the main economic activity of the island.
