The Vanoise is the Alps, stretching between the Maurienne and Tarentaise. This massif is located in the department of Savoie, and has two main valleys, the Tarentaise and the Maurienne. Its highest point and the top of the Grande Casse at 3,855 meters. The minimum altitude of the park is located at 1,280m. The Vanoise National Park was the first National Park created in France in 1963.
He also contain the characteristic of a common border with the National Park of Gran Paradiso in Italy. These two national parks, Vanoise and Gran Paradiso form a territory that is one of the largest natural areas in Europe.
This is the kingdom of ibex, chamois, marmots and columbine. We do not find that the famous Ibex, but also flora and fauna of the most diverse with more than 1,200 varieties of flowers.
