    On some slopes of Mont Lozere, particularly exposed to snowstorms in winter, the inhabitants have built steeples of turmoil. The sound of bells allowed villagers, shepherds, pilgrims find their way in the snowstorm. The steeples of turnoil is for the mountain, which the lighthouse is to sailors.
